I'm Matt Maas — a software engineer based in Omaha, Nebraska. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I was a Regent's Scholar. Over the past 8+ years, I've built critical software used by hospitals, veterinarians, telecom operators, athletes, and Fortune 500 companies.
I specialize in taking complex, ambiguous requirements and turning them into shipped products. My sweet spot is the intersection of systems architecture and AI — understanding how data flows through a system and where intelligence can be injected to make it better.
These days, I'm deep in AI agent orchestration — building systems that can autonomously handle business operations, voice interactions, and complex workflows. I'm also passionate about home lab infrastructure and self-hosted services.
